The Strokes es un quinteto de Nueva York, compuesto por Nikolai Fraiture (bajo), Julian Casablancas (voces), Albert Hammond, Jr। and Nick Valensi (guitarra), y Fabrizio Moretti (batería). La banda se formó en 1998 y se asomó a la fama en los primeros años del 2000 como un grupo lider en el garage rock revival.
